Overseas mission to strengthen important ties

The Premier of South Australia Peter Malinauskas has embarked on his first international visit since becoming Premier in March.
 
From 8-15 October a South Australian delegation will visit Japan and South Korea to build on strong and long-standing relationships and explore opportunities in key sectors of strength.
 
Hydrogen and renewable energy, space, digital technologies, biomedicine, sport, wine and agriculture will all feature prominently in discussions with government and business representatives as South Australia’s capabilities will be promoted.
 
The Premier will be accompanied by Minister for Energy and Mining Tom Koutsantonis and Minister for Trade and Investment Nick Champion.
 
The Premier will also speak at the 59th Australia-Japan Joint Business Conference in Tokyo, with the conference to explore how Australian and Japanese businesses can work together.
