Up to 500 jobs available as Deloitte opens first Australian Centre for Innovation and Technology in South Australia

06 Sep 2021

Deloitte Australia is expanding its Adelaide operations with the opening of Australia’s first Centre for Innovation and Technology that will, over the next three years, create up to 500 jobs within automation, analytics, cyber and financial audit services.

With 300 people already based in Adelaide, Deloitte has worked with the State Government’s Department for Trade and Investment to establish the Australian Centre for Innovation and Technology Service Delivery in Adelaide, which will also see the development of a skills and employment package, building linkages to universities and graduate pipelines with the Department for Innovation and Skills.

41 graduate positions have already been filled for roles at the Australian Centre for Innovation and Technology, with EOIs now open for further positions.

“We have chosen Adelaide as the home of our first Australian Centre for Innovation and Technology because we have enormous confidence in the South Australian economy and the exceptional talent market that exists in the region,” Hendri Mentz, Adelaide office Managing Partner said.

“This is about harnessing the technology and innovation ecosystem in Adelaide to develop new offerings for the Australian market and then delivering on these offerings. We’ve seen investment from our alliance partners and want to be part of that story. Our clients across many sectors including the public sector, defence industry and space.”

Deloitte’s Australian Centre for Innovation and Technology will start providing services to clients in late 2021.
