Sentek probes eCommerce

11 Aug 2020
Since 1991, Sentek probes and software have been unlocking insights from soil that no other technology has been able to provide with such precision.

For agriculture, research, mining and environmental management organisations, conclusive soil data about water content, temperature and salinity has led to a host of advantages that are key to competing in demanding conditions.

With the majority of Sentek’s revenue being derived from export sales, the company has a strong focus on developing their overseas markets.

Sentek plan to sell manufactured soil moisture monitoring equipment, irrigation tap timers, software, complementary accessories and other agricultural equipment on their new online store, building their webstore with the help of eCommerce Accelerator Program (eCAP) funding.

eCAP has been designed to assist small to medium-sized exporters in selling their products or services digitally and globally, by embracing and leveraging eCommerce.

Sentek’s new online webstore will be specifically for the US market and will drive sales to their US subsidiary, Sentek USA Inc, which is a business development entity wholly owned by Sentek and fully integrated with their ERP, improving efficiency within the company and increasing total US sales.

Sentek aim to generate an additional A$117,000 in sales across the next 12 months as a result of the establishment of this new online webstore.
